When will the VAT be implemented?

Proposed - VAT was introduced on the 1st of January 2018, at a standard rate of 5% in the UAE and KSA, and for Bahrain from the 1st of January 2019. From 1st July 2020, the VAT rate for KSA will change to 15% from an existing 5%.
